Planet Friendly Schools shows up online

Despite the difficulties related to the pandemic, which unfortunately greatly limited the possibility of meeting in person in recent months, the Free Analysis and Research Center – CLAR, has been carrying out for some months the project funded by the Erasmus Plus community program called Planet Friendly School.

This project, in which CLAR is the representative for Italy, is carried out in collaboration with a large international partnership, made up of the following European organizations:

THE SOIL ASSOCIATION LIMITED, United Kingdom – lead partner

Kaiblinger & Zehetgruber OG, Austria
ROSKILDE UNIVERSITET, Denmark
Skutecne zdrava skola, z.s., Czech Republic
Equalita, Institut für Qualifizierung und Vernetzung in Europa e.V., Germany
FUNDACJA IMIENIA STANISLAWA KARLOWSKIEGO, Poland
Celostno izobrazevanje or prehrani Tanja Bordon s.p., Slovenia
VU PO AGROBIZNES I RAZVITIE NA REGIONITE – PLOVDIV, Bulgaria
Free Center for Analysis and Research (CLAR), Italy
Ökomarkt e.V., Germany

The first version of the web portal has been online for a few days, for now only in English, and collects the best educational practices on environmental issues carried out in the partner countries:

https://www.planetfriendlyschools.eu/

Planet Friendly School wants to collect the best educational experiences on environmental education issues, linked to the objectives of safeguarding and recovering the balance between anthropogenic activities and nature which is essential for the life of our planet.

CLAR has had to select for the moment the best educational-training experiences implemented in Italy. A choice that is not always easy, given the great commitment in our country of schools, associations and businesses on the issues of sustainability, ecology and the conservation of non-replaceable common resources (soil, air, water).

In the coming weeks, CLAR will be responsible for the translation and adaptation of the website to the specific Italian context: even if the experiences selected by the CLAR experts are already present in English.

Those who may not be represented on the project website can send information on what they have achieved to the CLAR address segreteria@clar.it, if they deem it worthy of being included among the most qualified experiences.

In the coming months, CLAR will also implement a dissemination activity of the work carried out by the Planet Friendly Schools project among schools, associations, public and private institutions that integrate the Italian educational community, so criticisms and observations on this Erasmus Plus project are absolutely welcome and appreciate.
